Western Enthusiasts will be pleased to know that during the course of the year we run a Hi-Points just for western riders, run and sponsored by Di Stark. Points are accumulated at 4 shows - the Western Show in October, the western classes at the New Years Show, the Western Show in February and the Western classes at the Easter Show. The prizes are presented by Di at the Easter Show and have both a Green (walk/jog) and an Open section.
This year's winner (2008/2009) was Lynn Jarvis & CH Celtic Champagne in the open section & Caroline Lockhart & Poppy in the Green Section.

Sally Houston has sponsored the Lucy Locket Trophy, again run on a hi-points system for competitors at the 3 Highstead Club Shows - New Year, Easter and the Summer Show. Competitors can gain points in the in hand and ridden foreign breed classes at all 3 events. Winner of the 2008/2009 season is Manda King & her Lusitano Gelding Xardez Du Zambujal

You can earn points at our 3 shows (New Year, Easter and our Summer Show) in any class - the only stipulation is that you have to be a current member before you can start earning points. Prizes will be presented in the Western, Showing and Jumping divisions. 2008/2009 Winners of the western award were Julie Seery with Imps Cochise, for the showing award it was Emma French & Sophie Saint and the jumping award went to Emma Lewis & Soliel D'ior.
These prizes were presented at the Clubs AGM in October.
